For comparison: bamboo charcoal sits at 600–984 m²\/g, wood charcoal at 500–800.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat's why we use coconut charcoal. More surface per gram = more dirt and impurities bound per gram. Not magic. Chemistry doing its work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rest is the same: beef tallow for the fatty acid profile, coconut for the lather, glycerin that stays in the soap. The charcoal adds deep cleansing — the rest gives the same mild wash as Ren.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlack all the way through. The lather is grey. It doesn't transfer.
